Art Basel Miami is intended to make people familiar with works of art & their artists as well as to get out and walk about experiencing the city & the art often displayed as part of the landscape. There are many private events in people’s homes as well as other avant guard locations. It is a week of wonderment in its 16th year & it will not disappoint!
Art Basel is one of the most comprehensive looks at the state of art today. This year, over 200 of the world’s leading international modern and contemporary art galleries display artworks by over 4,000 artists, including paintings, sculptures, installations, photography, film, video, and digital art. Visitors can find works ranging from editioned pieces by young artists to museum-caliber masterpieces.
