SOUTH TAMPA

Tampa is a city that has sprawled out over the past many years; however, South Tampa remains very much unchanged. Heading south from Ybor city, downtown Tampa & “The Channel District,” you reach “Hyde Park” & its quaint shopping & beautiful historic homes, which extend east onto “Bayshore Beautiful” & the wonderful Ballast Point Park. Here, magnificent homes have wide vistas of Hillsborough Bay.

Traveling south & just a short jaunt to the west lies “Palma Ceia,” another beautiful area with smaller homes & wonderful shopping as well as close proximity to houses of worship & private schools. as we head south of Gandy Blvd.

On Interbay, we reach lovely townhomes on the bay, brick roads, ballast point park, the Equestrian Center, Tampa Bay Yacht & Country Club & small pocket neighborhoods of tree-lined streets; it’s very much a walking area on the south peninsula! To the west, in the center of the area, we have our big box stores & the neighborhood of Sunset Park, Culbreath Isles & Beach Park, further stretching north to Kennedy Blvd & the Westshore area.

FUN ACTIVITIES!

Something is always happening in Tampa, from festivals to the famous Gasparilla weekends in February.

Downtown, Channel District & Ybor City has the Aquarium, the Riverwalk, The American Victory Ship & Museum, Cigar Stores & the Famous Colombian Restaurant.

Tampa is home to the University of South Florida, my alma mater & close by are Busch Gardens & the Lowery Park Zoo, or you can take a quick trip over the bay to the beaches in St. Petersburg!
